George Clooney just split from Elisabetta Canalis in June, but according to reports he is already moving on – with Stacy Keibler, a former professional wrestler and ‘Dancing With the Stars’ contestant.
Life and Style was first to report the story earlier this week. A source told the magazine that Stacy, 31, has been shacking up with George, 50, in his Lake Como villa after they were set up by a mutual friend.
“He’s enjoying spending time with Stacy, but he just got out of a two-year relationship,” the source said. “George isn’t ready for anything serious. This fling is purely for fun.”
Now Us Weekly is reporting that multiple sources have confirmed the hookup, and one suggests it might be something more serious.
“They’re basically exclusive at this point,” a source told Us Weekly. “They like each other’s sense of humor. Obviously they’re both physically attracted to one another.”
George and Elisabetta recently split after two years together and their opposing views on marriage may have played a part. Just weeks before they split, Elisabetta told an Italian magazine that she planned on getting married but was still enjoying her relationship with George.
In January George told Piers Morgan that he has no intentions of walking down the aisle a second time. (He was married from 1989 to 1993 to actress Talia Balsam, who is now married to John Slattery.)
“Yeah, so I’ve proven how good i was at it, and I just… I’m allowed one,” he said.
