Rashida Jones Talks Zooey Deschanel Kissing On ‘Our Idiot Brother’

Rashida Jones

In the name of research for her art, Rashida Jones spent pre-production on her latest film kissing a lot of girls.

The “Parks & Recreation” star guested on “Chelsea Lately” on Wednesday night to talk about “Our Idiot Brother,” the star-studded indie pic in which she plays the girlfriend of Zooey Deschanel, who is one of Paul Rudd’s three put-upon sisters. Though there is much more to the role than her sexual orientation, it’s been a staple of late night shows and interviews in order to hype the film up.

Once again, Jones teasingly obliged, discussing both her kissing with Zooey — awkward, because of the giggly guys — and her preparation for doing so, which included smooching a lot of other girls.

Jones has said before that this was her first experience kissing women, discussing it at length in an interview with The Advocate.

“‘I was like, ‘Oh, my God, girls are so pretty and soft. No stubble burn! What am I doing with guys?’ she laughingly told the magazine. “I haven’t dipped back since, but I was very appreciative of the experience.”

Lady Gaga Opens Up About Amy Winehouse, Clarence Clemons: Singer Co-Hosts On ‘The View’ (VIDEO)

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga, looking quite conservative (for Gaga, that is) in a houndstooth-only ensemble, co-hosted “The View” today with Whoopi, Joy, Barbara and Elizabeth, and the women started the morning segment with some hard-hitting questions about the price of fame and her past drug-use.

Whoopi was quick to ask “The Edge of Glory” singer about her thoughts on Amy Winehouse’s death, to which Gaga replied, “I don’t feel like Amy needed to learn any lessons. I feel like the lesson was for the world to be kinder to the superstar.”

But the ladies of ‘The View’ didn’t waste any time before grilling Gaga about her own hard drug use. Last month, Gaga opened up to Howard Stern about her past hard drug-use, calling cocaine the devil. Gaga didn’t hold back on ‘The View’ either, telling the day-time talk-show queens: “I was so embarrassed. my dad called me out about it one day. My dad was like, ‘I know what you’re doing. I did it, and I lost every friend and everything I ever had when I did it.’ He shared with me his struggle, and that was what ultimately saved my life.”

Gaga also opened up about another famous performer who recently passed away–famed saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who Gaga collaborated with on her hit single “The Edge of Glory.”

The E Street Band saxophonist died in June from complications due to a stroke, but not before filming with Lady Gaga for her “The Edge of Glory” music video, which featured Clemons on saxophone. The music video is an intimate moment between Clemons and the “Born This Way” superstar. Featuring just the two of them, Clemons is seen in the video sitting on a stoop next to Gaga as he blows the instrument he became synonymous with.

“He really was like a father-figure,” said Gaga. “We had six wonder months of really close friendship, Clarence and I. He really changes your life so quickly, and you don’t know why and you can’t explain it, but he really does have this godly spirit around him. It was so important to me that he and I were the only two people in that video.”

Gaga then performed her next single, “You & I”, off her multi-platinum “Born This Way” album and wrapped things up by singing a few a capella lines of “The Edge of Glory” for the “The View” ladies.

Miley Cyrus Gay Rights Tattoo On Finger (PHOTO)

Miley Cyrus has some new ink, and it’s making more than a fashion statement.

On Friday night, the former “Hannah Montana” star tweeted a photo of a new tattoo, a small equal sign on the side of her ring finger. With the photo, Cyrus wrote, “All LOVE is equal.”

In response to a fan’s tweet disagreeing her stance, she wrote, “where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge honey. ‘GOD is love.'”

Cyrus has been outspoken in her support for gay rights; in 2009, after Carrie Prejean told Perez Hilton during the Miss USA contest that she did not believe in gay marriage, Cyrus tweeted, “Jesus loves you and your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! That’s like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz he’s gay and that is wrong and very sad! Like I said everyone deserves to be happy. I am a Christian and I love you — gay or not. Because you are no different that anyone else! We are all God’s children!”

Back in 2009, Cyrus unveiled a tattoo that said, “Just Breathe,” in honor of a friend who died of cystic fibrosis.

Denise Richards’ Lesbian Experience: ‘We Were Curious’ (VIDEO)

Denise Richards

Playing to a lot of people’s fantasies, “Wild Things” star Denise Richards dished on her lesbian experience on an appearance on Howard Stern Tuesday night. The ex-wife of Charlie Sheen goes into details about the affair in her new tell-all book, “The Real Girl Next Door.”

While an obviously piqued Stern attempts to dig out the identity details — “I’m going to name everyone in Hollywood!” — Richards remains coy, saying only that “You would know who she is.”

“I just met her through friends and work and stuff… I was just curious. We were curious,” she tells Stern.

“She was a girly-girl. She’s beautiful.”

Actress Matarazzo plans to wed longtime girlfriend!

NEW YORK — Heather Matarazzo has played some tough parts in her career – from Dawn Weiner in “Welcome to the Dollhouse” to Sadie Atkins in the upcoming “Manson Girls.” But the 28-year-old actress sees her next role as the most important.

With New York becoming the sixth, and largest, state to legalize same-sex marriage, Matarazzo plans to wed longtime girlfriend Caroline Murphy.

“My eyes and spirit have opened up since I found someone that I get to share my life with,” Matarazzo says of Murphy.

But the couple had no desire to make history last Sunday by getting married on the first day the law took effect.

“I always wanted a wedding,” Murphy says. “Not a trip to City Hall.”

Wanting to share their union with their closest friends and family, the couple opted to plan their dream wedding. Though plans are still in the making, both seem to favor a bucolic setting in the fall or spring for the ceremony and reception. And with large families on both sides, Murphy expects the wedding list to top 200 guests.

For the ceremony, Matarazzo envisions wearing a simple, off-white dress, but has yet to find the right one.

“When I see it I will just know,” she says

Murphy, a recording artist currently working on her first album, says she’ll likely wear a white pants suit, “but a sexy one,” when she walks down the aisle.

Engaged for three years, the couple originally planned to marry in California two years ago. But their plans were nixed when Proposition 8 eliminated the rights of same-sex couples to marry in the state. Now they hope that impending court challenges do not reverse New York’s law before they can say, “I do.”

The couple experienced another bump when they returned to New York and met with then-governor David Patterson.

“He led us to believe gay marriage would be legal last September, and he even agreed to marry us,” Murphy said. “We started planning on that, and that went away.”

They’re both anxious to start a family.

“We’ve always talked that Caroline would have a child first, and then I will go,” Matarazzo says.

After that, they plan to adopt.

Matarazzo says she sees herself and Murphy as complete beings that came together to help one another grow.

“I don’t believe that I’ve found my other half,” she says. “That would mean I was thinking of myself as incomplete.”

Murphy agrees and remembers calling her mother the day she met Matarazzo and telling her: “Mom, I just met my wife.”
