Kelly Rowland Nip Slip-Up: ‘Peekaboo’ (PHOTO)

She may have been newly named as an X Factor UK judge, but we’d have to give former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland a big “no” for her scandalous sartorial slip-up on Sunday. While performing her new single “Motivation” at Club 4Sixty6 in West Orange, New Jersey, the singer’s strappy studded bra slid up to reveal a bit more than a renewed sense of enthusiasm to be back on the scene.

But we’d have to give her a send-through for her cutely blithe attitude about the matter. Rowland tweeted later: “New Jersey crowd was amazing!! hope you enjoyed the show and didnt mind the peekaboo LOL!!! #kanyeshrug #stuffhappens.”

Rihanna Steps Out In String Bikini (PHOTO)

Rihanna was spotted showing off her curves on the beaches of Barbados Thursday. The singer was back in her home country giving a whole new meaning to a string bikini. The white swimsuit she was wearing seemed hardly the right choice for some water sports, but Rihanna managed to stay covered and jet ski in style.

The “S&M” singer is getting some R&R with friends and family during her visit home.

Unfollow: The Worst Celebrity Tweeters

We all the know the situation far too well. Excited to be given the key to the inner psyche of our favorite celebrities we casually click ‘Follow,’ not knowing that the simple action could have the most catastrophic affect on our love for the perfectly coifed and expertly buffed few.

They may say all the right things on the big screen, have expert comedic timing on the small screen or belt out lyrics on-stage that make us want to melt, but when it comes to speaking their minds in 140 characters or less, these celebs just don’t cut it.

THE OFFENDERS:

@KimKardashian Come out with yet another frangrance, and we’ll buy it. Mention your butt just once in an interview, and we’ll have a viral video on our hands. But Kim, sweet, sweet Kim, if you could keep the intimate details of your sleep cycle — every awakening, every yawn, every fluttering eyelid — to yourself, we’d greatly appreciate it. If we sign on to see that you’ve tweeted, “Rise & Grind” one more time, we may have to do the unthinkable and click ‘Unfollow.’

@danecook We get it, you’re funny. But when it comes to your bodily functions or keen sense of smell, some things are better kept to yourself. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

@iamdiddy Dear Diddy, if you use one more self-aggrandizing exclamation, we might just have to put our index fingers to work and show you the door by giving you the good ol’ Twitter so long.

@Sn00ki Meatball Snooki has finally found her perfect guidette loving, fist-pumping, juicehead boyfriend — and she won’t let us forget it!

@katyperry Don’t be that girl! From every snack to sip, for Katy Perry, no ingested particle is too small to tweet about. Pass!

@jason_mraz Somebody give this happy man a splinter! We get it, you’re brimming with endorphins, but enough with the bubbly bumblings already!

@lindsaylohan You know things are tough when you’re hocking muffin baskets and Escalades — stay strong sister. But in the meantime, we’re going to put your handle on hiatus.

@ScottDisick This guy wouldn’t know a hard day’s work if it bit him in his custom made, Italian suit-covered bum. Disick’s #ChampagneProblems have him at the receiving end of a kick from our non-designer boots.

Britney Spears Gives Audience Member A Lap Dance On-Stage (PHOTOS)

Britney Spears’ aptly-titled ‘Femme Falate’ tour just got more scandalous.

While performing in Washington, D.C., the singer plucked a fan from the audience and gave him a lap dance on stage.

Britney handcuffed the man to a pole and dressed him up in bright pink boa. Then she proceed to rock his–and everyone else’s–world, ending her performance by wrapping her legs around the fan’s head. This girl’s no slouch!

Rihanna ‘S&M’ Lawsuit Moves Forward; David LaChapelle’s Claims Found Substantial

Rihanna

Teeming with gag-balls, whips and a lot of leather, Rihanna’s video, ‘S&M,’ was bound to get our attention.

But perhaps not this much. When the salacious video was released, it received immediate backlash–some because of its controversial subject and others because of its artistic vision and execution.

Photographer David LaChapelle, whose work has appeared in various fashion and music magazines, sued the R&B star this February for allegedly copying his work in her video. LaChappelle said that this infraction occurred eight times throughout the course of the video.

Despite their similarities, pinning copy right infringement to the somewhat ineffable qualities of “composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting” of the video is no easy case.

Lucky for LaChapelle, he’s now made it passed the first round of legal bureaucracy. New York Judge Shira Scheindlin finds the photographer’s claims sufficient to support a charge of copying. Interestingly enough, the concrete similarities such as the use of leashed men, gag-balls and leather–the real meat and potatoes of the video–are not a basis for infringement.

Rather, it is the video’s use of “angles, poses and lighting” that’s protected under copyright, according to the judge.

The similarities between Rihanna’s ‘S&M’ and LaChapelle’s photographs no coincidence, he says. The video’s storyboards actually used his photographs for inspiration.
