Joan Rivers Wants Kim Kardashian’s Butt On The Walk Of Fame

Joan Rivers & Kim Kardashian

Joan Rivers is coming to Kim Kardashian’s defense, saying it’s not right for the Hollywood Walk of Fame to prohibit the handprints of reality stars from gracing its famous sidewalk.

“They should include Kim,” Rivers told me while she was placing her hands in cement outside Theatre 80 in New York City. “If they don’t want her hands, they should do her butt.”

Rivers’ famous hands will be joining the likes of Joan Crawford’s famous paw prints outside the theater and the big event was captured by the cameras of her We TV Show, “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” which is filming its second season.

“I can’t commit a crime now,” Rivers laughed, telling me a woman’s hands always reveal her real age. “I’m the only person outside this theater in cement who is alive. Did my doctor call you before I arrived?”

Wilson Phillips Gets Reality Show: Band Chronicles Comeback In Reality Series

Thanks to the celebrated chick comedy “Bridesmaids,” Wilson Phillips is ready to fully launch their millennial comeback

The Grammy-nominated 80s girl group–famous for hit “Hold On”–are getting their very own reality series on the TV Guide Network, titled “The Wilson Phillips Project.”

The show will profile and follow singing sisters Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson and their childhood best friend Chynna Phillips as they try to reach the top of the charts once again. Think of it as a comeback 20 years in the making.

Chynna Phllips is already set to appear on the upcoming season of “Dancing With The Stars,” while Carnie Wilson landed a judging role on ABC’s “Karaoke Battle USA.” So it looks like there will be plenty of Wilson Phillips on television screens this year–who says a new album is even necessary?

The pilot will premiere later this year.

Kate Gosselin’s Worried About Life After ‘Kate Plus 8’

Kate Gosselin

We’ve watched Jon and Kate Gosselin raise their eight children in front of reality show cameras. We’ve seen countless family vacations, temper tantrums and eventually, a divorce. Now that the TLC show — once “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” now just “Kate Plus 8” — is signing off for the last time Sept. 12, the family’s matriarch is worried about how she’ll continue to provide for her children.

“I’m freaking out. Big time,” Kate Gosselin told PEOPLE for their latest cover story.

In August, TLC cancelled the once-popular show, which chronicles the life of Gosselin and her eight children with ex-husband, Jon. After the announcement, Gosselin took to Twitter to share her thoughts on what is life-changing news for her family.

“We’ve had a great run! Six years of whirlwind funfilled adventures thanks to TLC and our many many supportive &diehard fans!,” she wrote, adding, “I poured my entire self in2 the last6years of ‘Kate Plus 8′ & I can’t wait2have the chance2challenge myself again w future endeavors!”

So what’s next for Gosselin? She’s apparently thinking about getting into TV production.

“I know when things translate into TV. I’m good at it ’cause I live this life,” she told The Huffington Post. “I have had people come to me and say ‘I have this great idea for a reality TV show.’ I actually, in my mind, can play it out and see it happening … for me it’s like writing a living book and I really love to write.”

But don’t think that just because “Kate Plus 8” is going off the air that this is the last we’ll see of Gosselin and her brood.

“TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future,” a rep for the show said at the time of its cancellation.

The finale episode of “Kate Plus 8” airs September 12 on TLC.

Audrina Patridge Says Her Reality Show Is Over

Audrina Patridge

If there are any fans of Audrina Patridge’s lastest reality show “Audrina,” they’ll be sad to learn the show likely won’t return for another season.

The Daily caught up with the former “The Hills” cast member, who told the paper another season isn’t in the cards.

“We finished in April and I kind of decided I wanted to take some time off from reality. I want to do something more like acting or hosting,” she said.

The paper also asked the reality star about the plastic surgery rumors that won’t seem to go away. She told The Daily:

“They always ask me about that because of Heidi [Montag] and there’s all these rumors and they all say I’ve had, like, six procedures, and I’m, like, ‘Where do you get that?’ Look at the pictures. I fluctuate in weight a lot.”

And though before and after photos suggest otherwise, the former contestant on “Dancing With The Stars” said she doesn’t like to talk about rumors regarding breast implants.

“Well, see I have this chest problem,” she explained. “My bone right here, it’s higher on this side? It’s pectoralis something, so I’ve always struggled with that. You could see they look different sizes all the time.”

That completely explains it.

‘Kardashian Klan’: Kim, Khloe And Kourtney’s PR Blunder

THE KARDASHIANS

Trust us when we say there is nothing we love more than alliteration when it comes to the Kardashians, but someone really didn’t think this one through.

The New York Observer points out a rather worrisome press release that is making its rounds, promoting the sisters’ new clothing line for Sears — the Kardashian Kollection.

Alliteration is great, but someone in the Kardashian camp doesn’t know when to cool it with the “K’s,” and referred to Kim, Khloe and Kourtney as the “Kardashian Klan.”

As The Observer notes, that spelling of “klan” is only associated with one thing, “And it doesn’t help that their primary initials amount to three consecutive K’s.”

Clearly this was an oversight, but perhaps it will teach the Kardashians they shouldn’t be so creative when it comes to spelling.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 13 Cast Revealed

'Dancing With The Stars'

Summoning the who’s who of the backwaters of cable television, the “Dancing With The Stars” season 13 cast has officially been announced.

Leading the pack is David Arquette, who was linked with the show a few weeks back. He just got back from a trip to Africa to help raise awareness of malaria prevention, and perhaps his good karma will get him closer to the mirror ball trophy. Last season, Hines Ward took home the top prize; the season before that, Jennifer Grey was the winner.

Perhaps the most intriguing entrant is Elisabetta Canalis, the Italian model and ex-girlfriend of George Clooney. And by far most hilariously, Nancy Grace, the bombastic Headline News host, will also be competing for a shot at dance floor immortality.

Also, there will be a bit of a family rivalry, as Ron Artest, teammate of Khloe Kardashian’s husband Lamar Odom, is squaring off against Rob Kardashian, her brother.

Here’s the full list; in the comments, tell us what you think. The season starts September 19th.

Kim Kardashian Shows Off Nephew Mason For The Paparazzi (PHOTO)

Kim Kardashian showed off her nephew Mason, as she arrived at JFK International Airport with sister, Kourtney Kardashian and beau Scott Disick.

The group flew in to the New York City airport and quickly made their exit, but not before Kim gave the paparazzi a little something. The newlywed rolled down the window of the SUV they were in, allowing the paps to snap a few shots of the group. Baby Mason stole the show, giving the photogs a sweet little smile, showing off his cherub cheeks.

Mason is just one of the many cute little kiddos that are outshining their celebrity family members.

Hollywood Walk Of Fame Bans Reality Stars

The Kardashians

Though the TV networks are getting rich off of its low budget and high revenue margins, the creatives in Tinseltown still, it seems, refuse to accept reality television as a true contributor to the long-lasting artistic and sociological legacy of entertainment and pop culture.

So, sorry Kim Kardashian: your wedding may be the stuff of celebrity royalty, but you still ain’t getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In a recent posting on the Walk of Fame’s Facebook page, Ana Martinez, Vice President for Media Relations and Producer for the Hollywood Walk of Fame wrote, “Someone asked if we give reality show characters stars? Hell to the No!”

Later, she told CNN that the Walk of Fame’s criteria included: “longevity in their field of entertainment, awards and other honors, and philanthropic work.”

This year, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Winslet lead the list of new inductees.

Of course, they’re somewhat flexible about their admissions policy; Mickey Mouse, Kermit the Frog and Big Bird all have stars, which is appropriate given their impact, but a bit iffy given their fictional existence. There are also stars in place for Magic Johnson — for his movie theater chain, apparently (certainly not his late night talk show), though his prominence in LA as the Lakers’ longtime star probably didn’t hurt, either. Perhaps because they’ve flown amongst the stars (and their moon landing was an iconic part of TV history), the Apollo 11 astronauts have stars, too.

Snooki and co. can be comforted by some of the other celebs who don’t have stars; one can only imagine the commiseration that would go down between the little Guidette and Julia Roberts, who famously declined to have her name on the walk.

Meanwhile, honorees David Hasselhoff and Pat Sajak laugh at it all.

Doug Hutchison And Courtney Stodden: Headed To Reality TV?

Doug Hutchison And Courtney Stodden

Doug Hutchison, 51, and Courtney Stodden, 16, captured the nation’s attention when they announced their marriage in June, and now it looks like they could be headed to reality TV.

The actor and his teenage wife appeared on Australia’s “The Morning Show” to discuss the attention their marriage has gotten, and what they have to say to those who don’t think they should be married.

“We would say to our critics that love is very difficult to find in this world, and if you are lucky enough to find it like we have, then Godspeed,” Hutchison said.

The couple also discussed possible plans for a reality show about their life together.

“We’ve been seduced by a lot of producers wanting to do a reality TV show and we’re in negotiations right now with a very prominent producer and we’re talking about the possibility of bringing it to network,” Hutchison said.

“It’s going to be a reality show like no other,” Stodden added.

The aspiring model and singer also commented on her recent Pamela Anderson-themed photo shoot that hit the Internet earlier this month.

“That was actually part of one of my modeling projects,” Stodden said about the provocative photo, adding, “Pamela Anderson … people have treated her a certain way, a classified way, and they also treat me that way in a lot of cases, and I really admire that she holds her head up high, no matter what people dish at her, and she always keeps a sense of humor about that.”

Kim Kardashian Invites Ellen DeGeneres To Wedding After She Reportedly Cut 50 People From Her Invite List

Kim Kardashian

If you’re an A-list celebrity who didn’t get invited to Kim Kardashian’s wedding on Saturday August 20th, all hope is not lost — a little tweeting could go a long way.

That’s what Ellen DeGeneres did. The talk show host, who just celebrated her third wedding anniversary with actress Portia de Rossi, tweeted yesterday:

“No invitation to @KimKardashian’s wedding yet. #WorstThingInTheWorld.”

But don’t fret Ellen, Kim saw your tweet and responded:

The last minute invitation seems a little strange, given that it has been reported that Kim had to cut nearly 50 guests from her invite list.

The New York Post reports that the bride-to-be actually disinvited some of her stepfather Bruce Jenner’s extended family and has instituted a strict, “no-plus-one” policy.

Perhaps that policy doesn’t apply to celebrities who could continue to help her career.

Kim is set to marry NBA player Kris Humphries tomorrow at the Sotto Il Monte estate in Montecito, California and the guest list is said to include stars like Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Venus and Serena Williams, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Nicole Richie, Kelly Osbourne, Ryan Seacrest, Kathy Lee Gifford, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Maria Menounos, and Mark Ballas.

Did Kim really cut her 50 people from her wedding, including some extended family members? According to The New York Post, her reps said “no comment.”
