Jon Stewart Hosting Nirvana Survivors Reunion On Sirius XM Radio

NEW YORK — Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart will host a Q&A session with the surviving members of rock band Nirvana to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its album “Nevermind.”

Stewart will host the event on SiriusXM for two hours on Sept. 24. It will feature fans, Nirvana band members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, and Butch Vig, the producer behind “Nevermind.” Kurt Cobain, the band’s lead singer, committed suicide in 1994.

“Nevermind” was the band’s second album and has sold 10 million units in the United States. It features Nirvana’s biggest hit, “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

Grohl is now the lead singer of the Foo Fighters.

SiriusXM will also launch the all-Nirvana channel, Nevermind Radio, on Sept. 23 until Sept. 28.

Kelly Rowland to Go on Tour With Chris

As reported by The BoomBox, following yesterday’s (July 26) release of her much buzzed about new album, ‘Here I Am,’ Kelly Rowland has announced that she will be hitting the road with Chris Brown on his upcoming U.S. tour, starting this September.

Breezy was certainly feeling his ‘Feelin’ Me Right Now’-singing tourmate and expressed his excitement via Twitter. “This Tour is about to be crazzzyyy! Not releasing the dates yet or the other acts. Don’t wanna count my eggs before they hatch!,” Brown wrote.

“Me and Kelly Rowland, along with other incredible artist are going on tour!!!! I’ll let u know who else is on later!” Chris added.

Kelly confirmed the news an interview with New York’s Hot 97. “I’m also going on tour with Chris Brown in September,” she revealed. “I’m so excited about that.”
