Lil’ Romeo Proposes To Demi Lovato (VIDEO)

Romeo Miller & Demi Lovato

There’s nothing more romantic than making your intentions of marriage known through a paparazzo with a video camera — hey, they don’t call him Lil’ Romeo for nothing. The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, Romeo Miller, recently told Rumor Fix cameras (via E! Online) that he was ready to put a ring on Demi Lovato’s finger.

“Demi Lovato, if you see this, this is me proposing to you right now,” he told the camera man. “I don’t got the ring, but that’s nothing. You know, I listen to Beyoncé’s song, when she said ‘put a ring on it,’ so I got you!”

Romeo explained that he first met Lovato several years ago, “before she was who she was,” and took quite a shining to her smile — and gave her his number. Plus Romeo had quite a few reasons why Lovato might like him too.

“Once you go black, you don’t go back,” he explained before getting down on one knee. “We got a few toys at the house, we’ll have the best wedding. I’ll keep her out of trouble … She needs a strong, solid man.”

Romeo’s on-camera confession wasn’t just the suave 22-year-old blowing smoke. He also took to Twitter to profess his affection for the singer and actress: “@ddlovato You’re kind of amaZing ;)”

Rihanna Denies Sex Tape With J. Cole

Rihanna

Yesterday reports surfaced that a sex tape made by Rihanna and rapper J. Cole was up for sale.

An anonymous source told Media Take Out that he had obtained the alleged sex tape and sent screen shots to the website, which showed a woman with bright red hair — the kind Rihanna had been rocking — getting busy with a man who looked a lot like J Cole.

Grainy screen shots are definitely cause to cast some doubts on just how real the tape might be, but adult entertainment company Hustler confirmed they have a sex tape featuring the two performers in their possession.

“We have seen it and we do not know what we are going to do with it yet,” a rep for the company told Radar Online.

While the two were on tour together earlier this year, and Media Take Out reports that the rapper did just lose his phone, Rihanna took to Twitter to deny the tape exists. She tweeted: ” We don’t believe U, U need more people…AND ofcourse an actual sextape! #slownewsday”

The “S&M” singer clearly has a good sense of humor about these things judging by that hashtag, but J. Cole, who also turned to Twitter to dispel the rumor seemed less amused. He tweeted: “Gossip Gossip, nigga just stop it”

Ice-T Jokes About ‘Real Housewives’ Husband, Russell Armstrong’s Suicide

Ice-T

While most were shocked and saddened by the reported suicide of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong’s estranged husband Russell Amrmstrong on Tuesday, Ice-T was joking about it.

The “Law and Order: SVU” star tweeted:

“Bad joke … But alotta those wives would make me consider it.”

More appropriate reactions to Russell Armstrong’s death expressing sympathy, were heard from the Bravo executive, Andy Cohen and Taylor’s “Housewives” castmate, Camille Grammer, and New York “Housewives,” Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps.

Rick Ross Gets Off in Dog Death Case, Lawsuit Dismissed

Rick Ross

It turns out Rick Ross is out of the doghouse, at least for now. A lawsuit against the ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ rapper was dropped today (July 21), which claimed that earlier this year,
his three pitbulls mauled Banks, a Yorkshire Terrier owned by his neighbor.

According to TMZ, the judge ruled that Banks’ owner, identified as Maria in court documents, failed to “properly serve Ross the suit,” making the case null and void.

The lawsuit claims the three pitbulls escaped from Ross’ Atlanta mansion before entering Maria’s property and brutally attacking her dog. She demanded more than $15,000 in damages and fees for the incident that allegedly left her pup with four large bite wounds, which led to his eventual death.

Although the case was dismissed, Maria told TMZ that, “she isn’t giving up… and vows to correct her mistake and eventually get justice for Banks.”

Andre 3000 Not Playing Jimi Hendrix, Biopic Blocked

Andre 3000 & Jimi Hendrix

OutKast member Andre 3000 will not be playing rock legend Jimi Hendrix in an independent movie biopic as was previously reported and anxiously anticipated by his fans. The Experience Hendrix estate, in charge of all Hendrix material and images, have squashed the hopes of a biopic going forward, along with the our fantasy of this perfect casting.

Experience Hendrix and their CEO, Hendrix’s sister Janie, have “made it known many times in the past that no such film, were it to include original music or copyrights created by Jimi Hendrix, can be undertaken without its full participation.” A musician’s biopic without music? That is decidedly unfoxy, lady!

The estate does, however, confirm that a documentary film is currently in the works, stating, “With Sony Legacy, our partner, we are active in releasing documentary material starring, so to speak, Jimi Hendrix as himself and plan to continue on this path.”

Reportedly, the role was also offered to Jason Derulo but he turned it down, not that it matters now.

Lil Mama Takes Jabs at Nicki Minaj, Cries Over Mother

Lil Mama

Lil Mama may not have a song that’s hitting radio airwaves but that doesn’t mean the spotlight isn’t shining upon her. The Brooklyn native recently visited Power 105.1’s the Breakfast Club in New York City to discuss her break from making tracks like her once popular ‘Lip Gloss,’ however, things took a dramatic turn when she broke down in tears when speaking of her deceased mother.

After brushing off insults from host Charlamagne the God, Mama addressed the topic of sitting idle in her music career and let the tears flow as she got emotional. “Listen, I’ve taken a step away from music already,” the rapper told hist Angela Yee. “I’m getting back into the music now. My music will speak for itself. I’m not here to say what I’m gonna do. When I was 17 years old, I put out an album while my mother was dying of cancer. That right there alone is a struggle. That’s hard. That’s tough for anybody. But my music will speak for itself. My actions will speak for itself.”

Clearly angered over the lack of positive support from radio figures like the Breakfast Club hosts, the ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ judge threw out sentiments that seemed to corner Nicki Minaj. “I don’t look at TV or listen to radio and say, ‘I’m gonna be a h– now,’ or ‘Oh, I’m gonna do this now,’ or ‘I’m gonna talk like this,'” she said as she threw her hands from side to side. “Or ‘I’m gonna get a tattoo that says ‘I’m a doll,’ or ‘I’m gonna get a chain that says ‘I’m a doll.’ I’m Lil Mama til the day I die.”

While host DJ Envy claimed her remarks were shots taken at the Young Money MC, the ‘Voice of the Young People’ creator kept on with her statements that she will be using her voice to get back to the music she once made.

Movement, Keri Hilson stole the spotlight, performing material from her sophomore album No Boys Allowed. Rocking a pink jumpsuit and holding a sack of money, the blonde bandit wielded a gun-shaped mic as she delivered her girl power anthems.

Rick Ross invaded the stage with his bombastic hits including “9 Piece” and “Hustlin’” before making way for Weezy F. The YMCMB headliner, who doesn’t rehearse for his tours, brought out guests Mack Maine for “Got Money” and Ace Hood for the remix to “Hustle Hard,” offering concertgoers a taste of his upcoming album Tha Carter IV with “Nightmares of the Bottom.”

“Ladies and gentleman, you are being entertained by much more than just a rapper. I am one of the best things to ever happen to music,” he boldly declared before disappearing into the shadows.

Lil Wayne launched the second leg of his “I Am Still Music” tour at Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Conn., on Wednesday night (July 13).
